Socrate Commercial Module

It allows the successful management of contractual relations with business partners (both clients and suppliers). It is meant for the commerce department, the marketing department and for the company’s executive management. It is flawlessly integrated with the other Socrate+ modules.

The Purchasing sub-module (supplier order and purchases)

It facilitates the management of contractual relations with suppliers: processes the Purchasing need, generates supplier confirmations, supplier delivery notes and supplier bills, all with the ultimate goal of making the Purchasing activity easier.

Characteristics

  • Automatically identifies suppliers by their unique data.
  • Categorization of suppliers by multiple criteria.
  • Suppliers can be analyzed by purchase volume, purchased products, location, respected delivery deadlines, granted credit conditions, purchasing methods etc.

The import Sub-module

Through this module, the import documents are being submitted.

Characteristics

  • For physical, tangible products, the supplier’s approval notice must be submitted first.
  • The import document is generated based on the approval notice.
  • The direct submitting of a customs document is only used for the import of services.
  • All the necessary bills are generated based on the import document, as well as the NIR.
  • All the elements of an invoice are registered and calculated based on an import document.
The sales sub-module (client orders and purchases)

Allows the successful management of contractual relations with clients.

Characteristics

  • Allows defining and categorizing clients based on multiple criteria.
  • Order management is done globally, by product or by product batch.
  • Clients can be analyzed by sales volume, sold products, location, distribution methods etc.

The Export Sub-Module 

In this sub-module you can find the documents that manage contractual relations with external clients.

Characteristics

  • For services exports, the invoice is manually registered.
  • The main document is the invoice.
  • The invoice contains all information necessary to the export process, information required by law.
  • For every invoice, an internal bill is generated (also required by law).
  • Registering the invoice is done with the internal bill.
  • For merchandise exports, the invoice will be generated from the client approval notices (either submitted or previously generated).
The stocks sub-module

Managing stocks is a very complex activity. Because of this, Socrate+ can help you manage stocks more efficiently.

Stocks are a significant investment of the company’s resources.

Characteristics

  • Multiple stock unloading methods: FIFO (first in, first out), LIFO (last in, first out), WAP (weighted average price) and by batches (specific logs).
  • The module works with both physical stocks and available stocks.
  • Items from within a company can be grouped on more levels, depending on the predefined categories.
  • The automatic conversion of measurement units allows keeping item stocks in multiple measurement units.
  • A strict history of stock variations is enforced, based on the issued management bills.
  • You can monitor the entire internal circuit of the items, through consumption, transfer and receiving tickets.

The Price Sub-module

The price sub-module allows the implementation of a logical price policy. Prices are being separately registered into price lists, both for purchased products (supplier prices) and for products that are on sale (sale prices).
