Green Tracking
GPS tracking solution offered by GreenSoft is based on equipment and programs that collect the information from the GPS satellite network and process them so that the current position of one or more vehicles equipped with GPS system can be shown on a digital map. Based on utilization method and/or transmission of the information, these systems have multiple practicabilities.
Theft protection for one or more vehicles;
Navigation - the system displays current position on a map;
Centralized localization and monitoring of several vehicles.
Based on the application, received data can be used:
Locally - the equipment provides current position on the map in the vehicle in which it is installed (navigation application);
Remote - the data are transmitted to a server, the server registers them and then it shows them on a map, using GPRS system (this system is mostly used for monitoring/surveillance purpose);
Besides the current position, specific information on the vehicle can be transmitted (speed, fuel consumption, etc.)
For those who own or operate car fleets, control and efficient management are essential. Constant verification of the transport efficiency, by knowing the current position and route of the vehicles, is available using GreenAuto application.
GreenAuto description:
GreenAuto is a fleet management integrated platform. Using a PC and an Internet browser one can view in real time the position of all the fleet vehicles.
In order to monitor the position and route of one vehicle, the equipment sends the GPS information via GPRS to a server that registers the information and puts it on a map.
Using the Internet to connect to the server, the user can follow in real time the positions of the vehicles. The data can also be downloaded.
Besides position, other parameters can be monitored (speed, fuel, etc.).
System components:
Equipment: ensures geographic positioning and data exchange with the monitoring centre. The key elements are: GPS, GPRS, which provide geographical position and data transfer to the surveillance system.
The server: the vehicles information is received in the application main server. The server processes, registers and correlates the information, and than sends them to the user via Internet. Vehicle and fleet data are kept under maximum security and confidentiality and they are shown to the user based on a user name and password.
Application structure: GEOFENCING POINTS MODULE. This module is practically the most important module. It allows the user to establish 90% of the priorities of the company based on the capitalization of the fleet vehicles. If Geofencing Points Module and Road Papers Module are properly used, after pertinent analysis, a fleet vehicle becomes an analysis and profit center, necessary for decision making.
GEOFENCING AREAS MODULE
For a better and efficient surveillance of the fleet vehicles, both visualization of current position of the vehicles and routes and creating restriction or observation areas are necessary. Once these areas are created, in the report section, the information regarding entering/leaving of the vehicles in/out of the pre-established areas is going to be available. Also, the areas created in this module shall also be available in the Road Papers Module.
CONFLICTS MODULE
This module allows the user to view all the conflicts generated based on the pre-established restrictions. Thus, the generated data can be visualized in the local interface as table or in html format. Also, the data can be saved for quality and quantity analyses.
HISTORY VISUALIZATION MODULE
The application allows the user to view all events which have taken place during a route. This report is generated by setting the date and time for the beginning and end of the desired period.
CONSUMPTION MODULE
In this module the user can set the fuel consumption of the fleet vehicles, thus when visualizing the report, the user can properly estimate the real fuel consumption of the fleet vehicles for a certain period.
BACK-UP MODULE
In order to make correct analyses regarding the activity of the fleet vehicles, we need all the data.
From the main interface the user can issue reports, visualizations, etc., both for the current day and for previous periods. The necessary data are provided in different ways, based on the selected period, namely:
If the report is for the current day, than the data are provided from the main server.
If the report is for a previous period, than the data are provided from the local folder.
AVAILABLE REPORTS:
Misbehaviors of the driver(s) who is late in distributing the goods to their destination;
Misbehaviors of the driver(s) who is late in picking-up the money from the selling points;
Reports regarding the driver(s) who opened the back door without being in an authorized location;
Reports regarding the driver(s) who has used the vehicle outside the working hours or outside a pre-established period.
Report regarding the driver(s) who left the geofencing areas pre-established in the application.
Report regarding the driver(s) who exceeded the speed limit or drove outside the cities.
Report regarding the driver(s) who left the pre-established routes;
Report regarding the driver(s) who stopped longer than allowed;
Driver(s) who has exceeded the theoretical fuel consumption from the vehicle report;
Report regarding the driver(s) who has parked near his house longer than allowed;
Centralized report with all misbehaviors of one driver/vehicle/group/fleet;
Fuel consumption reports for the driver/vehicle/group/fleet in comparison with the theoretical consumption and the difference in percents.
